YouTube - GREEN PORNO: Sex to Die For

YOU NEED TO SEE THIS.

If you watch any one, go to ‘green porno 1′ and watch praying mantis.  Honestly awesome production value, I’m really impressed with all the paper props they made.

WASP Injection Systems, Inc. - WASP Injection Knife

This weapon injects a frozen ball of compressed gas approximately the size of a basketball at 850psi nearly instantly. The effects of this injection will drop many of the world’s largest land predators. The effects of the compressed gas not only cause over-inflation during ascent when used underwater, but also freezes all tissues and organs surrounding the point of injection on land or at sea. When used underwater, the injected gas carries the predator to the surface BEFORE blood is released into the water. Thus giving the diver added protection by diverting other potential predators to the surface.

If this cat looks a bit extraordinary, that’s because this is no ordinary cat. It’s an Ashera, a breed created by mixing the bloodlines of a domesticated cat, an African Serval and an Asian Leopard Cat. The result is a 30 pound kitty who is highly intelligent, affectionate and has no problem with being walked on a leash.

Voice recording may be world’s oldest - CNN.com

The 10-second clip of a woman singing “Au Clair de la Lune,” taken from a so-called phonautogram, was recently discovered by audio historian David Giovannoni. The recording predates Thomas Edison’s “Mary Had a Little Lamb” — previously credited as the oldest recorded voice — by 17 years.

ROM Check Fail

THIS IS FANTASTIC. TRY THIS OUT.

http://playthisthing.com/rom-check-fail

Take the protagonist, with related verbs, of every major 80s hit, along with the enemies, the art assets, and the midi signature. Put them on separate, concentric roulettes, and spin. Spin every few seconds. Try to win.

I had basically an identical idea for a Flash game but this is much more ambitious and perfect. Give it a shot.

Rick Astley asked about Rickrolling?

Over the last year or so, Astley has watched with puzzled amazement as “Never Gonna Give You Up” has been mocked, celebrated, remixed and reprised, its original music video viewed millions of times on YouTube, all by a generation that could barely swallow its Gerber carrots when the song first topped the pop charts.

Wow, he’s finally publicly responded?

Must Watch: I Am Legend’s Original Ending - This is Amazing

Below is a link to the ‘original’ ending for this movie. It is SO MUCH BETTER. It touches upon the actual legend concept, where the main character is supposed to be legendary, being a vampire hunter and literally the last person alive. I had not read the book but the way things were shaping up, I seriously thought it was going to end something like this alternative ending.. i.e. he was going to actually save them or whatever, by showing them the girl vampire was healed…

I guess I just have to say, Fuck you, Hollywood. Movies that don’t explode in the end can have a climax, too.

If you saw this movie, you really need to watch this alternative ending, it changes everything. Really a pity haha.

I actually really loved I Am Legend quite a damn bit. I think I saw it around three times in theaters and loved it more each time. Up until the point where Alice Braga’s character appeared, I was enjoying it so much that I was considering making a spot for it on my best of 2007 list. However, by the end, I wasn’t as sure. The scene at the end where the vampire creatures break into Robert Neville’s lab is intense and amazing, and I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t how it should have played out. This ending below is what we should have seen.

Facts / Rumors | Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition

Wow. They are making World of DungeonsandDragonscraft, but it sounds a lot more fun then the D20 version. (Yes, they aren’t doing D20 for 4th Edition! Yay!)

InfoPorn: The Science vs. Scientology Timeline

Science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard’s most notorious space opera is the religion of Scientology, which is packed with aliens and space battles and waves of invaders to our solar system. Hubbard even referred to the cosmological timeline behind Scientology as “the space opera,” and for good reason. It reads like a pretty damn trippy science fiction novel. For your edification, we’ve created a handy timeline (below) that compares the scientific history of the universe with the Scientology history of the universe. Who knew all that alien stuff was going on during the middle ages? And before the Big Bang?

The stuff on the right side of this diagram is stuff that high-level practitioners of Scientology ACTUALLY BELIEVE.
